Terms & Conditions

Quality Medical Solutions, LLC offers two Medical Coding Courses with curriculum approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a recognized Education Provider.

Entrance Requirements

  1. Quality Medical Solutions, LLC does not discriminate based on race, sex, ethnic origin, or disability. 

  2. AAPC recommends students be beyond the age of compulsory high school attendance and have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education development (GED) certificate. 

  3. Anatomy & Terminology Course is recommended. 

Enrollment

  1. Prospective "Classroom" students must enroll and attend the 1st scheduled medical coding class of the school year.

  2. Prospective "Online" students may enroll anytime.

Attendance Requirements

  1. Students are expected to arrive on time for class with proper materials. Students must attend all scheduled classes, and if unable to attend scheduled classes must do a makeup of the class and cost will be determined by how many makeup classes one has already attended. 

  2. Makeup classes will be provided as follows:       

1st Class Makeup Tuition = $100

2nd Class Makeup Tuition = $150

3rd Class Makeup Tuition= $200

* All makeup classes are to be paid for on the date of the makeup. 

* Attendance is taken at each class meeting to assure that the policy is followed prior to the student receiving a Certificate of Completion and Letter of Experience documenting 1 year of medical coding experience.

Withdrawal

Students unable to complete the course may withdrawal at any time. NO REFUND for monies paid as stated in the student enrollment contract and the student will not be required to pay remaining tuition; however, it will be credited to their account for a 2-year period from registration date. 

Dismissal/Conduct Policy

All students are expected to act maturely and are required to respect other students and faculty members. Possession of weapons, illegal drugs, and alcohol of any kind are not allowed at any time on school property. Any violation of school policies may result in permanent dismissal from school.

Facilities

The school is located at 17710 Morehead Road, Wallingford, KY 41093. Our classrooms are furnished with modern equipment and large smart televisions for teaching. 

Previous Credits

Quality Medical Solutions, LLC does not accept the granting of credits for previous education, training or experience.

Placement Assistance

Quality Medical Solutions, LLC offers employment assistance to graduates, consisting of job lead referrals and job skills development. While assisting in your job search, we make no guarantee, expressed or implied, of future employment. Current law prohibits any school from guaranteeing job placement as an inducement to enroll students. 

Student Complaints

If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved by Quality Medical Solutions, LLC, the compliant may elect to submit to file a complaint with the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education, 300 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, KY 40601.

 

Filing a Complaint with the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education

To file a complaint with the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education, a complaint shall be in writing and shall be filed on Form PE_24, Form to File a Complaint, accompanied, if applicable, by Form PE-25, Authorization for Release of Student Records. The form may be mailed to the following address, The 300 Building, 300 Sower Boulevard, 4th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601. The forms can be found on the website at www.kcpe.ky.gov

Existence of the Kentucky Student Protection Fund

Pursuant to KRS 165A.450 All licensed schools, resident and nonresident, shall be required to contribute to a student protection fund. The fund shall be used to reimburse eligible Kentucky students, to pay off debts, including refunds to students enrolled or on leave of absence by not being enrolled for one (1) academic year or less from the school at the time of the closing, incurred due to the closing of a school, discontinuance of a program, loss of license, or loss of accreditation by a school or program.

 

Process for Filing a Claim Against the Kentucky Student Protection Fund

To file a claim against the Kentucky Student Protection Fund, each person filing must submit a signed and completed Form for Claims Against the Student Protection Fund, Form PE-38 and provide the requested information to the following address: Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education, 300 Sower Boulevard, 4th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601. The form can be found at www.kcpe.ky.gov

Refund Policy

Quality Medical Solutions, LLC has a NO REFUND POLICY as stated in the student enrollment contract; however, it will be credited to their account for a 2-year period from registration date.

Transcript

Quality Medical Solutions, LLC provides a letter and Certificate of Completion with 1-Year of medical coding experience to the student once the 80-Hour Certified Professional Coder Preparation Course requirement has been met. 

The student will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the 48-Hour Certified Inpatient Coder Preparation Course once the requirement has been met.
